Diverse range of lettings completed at Abingdon Business Park

A series of lettings have been completed at Abingdon Business Park following its major refurbishment programme bringing four new tenants to the park.

At Windrush Court, analytical instrument manufacturer Hitachi Hi-Tech has set up a new European headquarters. The business has agreed a five-year lease on 3,600 sq. ft. of offices at £17.50 per sq. ft. Hitachi Hi-Tech was represented by Core Consult in their search for new offices.

Also at Windrush Court, chartered accountancy firm Ross Brooke has taken 3,000 sq. ft. on a five-year lease at £17.50 per sq. ft. and will relocate from its current location in Newbury.

Growth at sustainable lighting specialists LPA has seen it agree a 10-year lease on industrial accommodation at Blacklands Way. The company, which has taken 4,700 sq. ft. of space at £9 per sq. ft., is looking to expand its eight-strong workforce further with additions to the design and project management teams as well as increasing stock levels to ensure faster turnaround for customers in retail and hospitality.

Multi-disciplinary transport planning and civil engineering consultancy Paul Basham has taken 1,189 sq. ft. of offices in Hitching Court on a 5-year lease at £17.50 per sq. ft. The company is set to relocate from its current base in Oxford.

Abingdon Business Park is owned by Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP, a Patrizia company, with XLB appointed as asset and development management partner.

Abingdon Business Park now only has two refurbished office units available totaling 3,500 sq. ft. A speculative 50,000 sq. ft. industrial development, Foxcombe, reached Practical Completion in May 2018, together with the pre-existing accommodation these can cater for R&D industrial requirements from 2,000 sq. ft. upwards.
